Are you an avid Philips Hue user? You will soon be able to try out an even better Lightstrip.
Lightstrips are one of the most widely used Philips Hue products. The creater Signify sees that too. According to an article from Hue, the company will release a new even better version soon.
Signify brings a new Philips Hue Lightstrip
Signify comes with the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip Ambience. This light strip is two meters long and can show different colors at the same time. Exactly how many colors are available is still unknown. Clarity is also still a question mark. What we do know is that in total, the product can display about sixteen million different colors in addition to the white tones.
Unlike the current Philips Hue Play Gradient Light Strip, the new version has double-sided adhesive tape on the back. This makes it even more flexible to install. The product itself has not yet been presented, but according to Hue Blog it will be released sometime this summer. The medium even got their hands on a photo of the box.
How much will it cost?
The new Lightstrip will cost you considerably more than the previous version. The ‘old’ model costs around 80 euros while the new one gets a price of around 130 euros.
The length of the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip Ambience is two meters long. If that’s not enough for you, you can extend it with one-meter extensions. These cost about 60 euros per meter.
